Thanks for asking, since I put a lot of heart, energy, and money into making my work, and see little back in return for sharing my vision.
I had a Paypal account back in 2007, when I was robbed, and my backup, computer, and camera were stolen (I live above a restaurant so no one would insure me). Paypal refused to release any of the funds donated to help me out, since it was related to what they deemed as “pornographic” materials.
It took me 2 years to get a direct response as to why they would not release the funds, while they continued to garnish off interest. Finally, I only saw 1/5th of the funds, as they disclosed that they are a christian, and family business and do not differentiate homoerotic arts with blatant gay pornography. I was really shocked, but later learned that this is quite common with Paypal.
Spread the word, Paypal is a terrible company.
